The TVS model is an approach to XML encoding of MARC data that distinguishes three different levels of goals: Transport,
Validation and Services.
O modelo TVS é uma abordagem à formalização XML de registos MARC que distingue três níveis diferentes de objectivos:

Sirius Shuttle é um sistema de transferência automática de registos bibliográficos entre
catálogos Sirius. Com este produto é possível sincronizar duas bases bibliográficas em
computadores diferentes através da Internet, usando protocolos normalizados. A sincronização
pode ser completa, criando uma réplica, ou parcial, reproduzindo no segundo sistema um subconjunto da base
principal.
